Knowledge Based
Systems
Knowledge based software, or expert systems are designed to
store vast amounts of data, about a particular topic, and then interrogate it
so that sensible information can be gleaned from it.
The software will initially get the information
from experts, and will then replace them where they are not available.
Expert Systems are used for:
� Medical Diagnostic
� Car fault diagnostic
� Plant recogniser
� Bank loan decisions
